traveling with someone with mobility issues has forced us to book a one bedroom suite. Different embarkation, accessible seating. Blessed to have the concierge to go to. Haven't had to stand in that line for years. great video!

Thank you. I do enjoy tips and tricks videos. Being a nerd, I keep a running list which I add to every time I get a new piece of good advice. Calling housekeeping for most room issues (and not just for extra towels) is a solid plan. Keep them coming!

Key thought about CC cards and travel notices, most CC cards no longer require travel notices, but will freeze your card when you start using it on your ship card.
Make sure you have your CC card notices activated, and check your phone before you leave port to see if your CC is trying to get permission for the activity!
Of course don't forget to go AP mode as you leave port!
So what else can you do, , , , use the same card you bought the cruise with, or if you pre buy some thing on the ship like water, excursions, etc. use that same card for your on board account!
The CC company can see your activity and your less likely to have your card frozen.

Above all else if your issue isn’t urgent consider going much later in the evening such as while others are at dinner or better still the next day if u can. The tip about monitoring your cruise ship onboard account is very true and it is much easier than dealing with issues on the night before you disembark or like me on one cruise find out about it after your cruise and have to deal with head office once you’ve left the ship.

Great video especially for new cruisers. I don't know why people don't want to set up with a cc before they go on board to avoid these lines!

On our embarkation on the NCL Joy a few years ago, we we're in line for two+ hours. It was not pleasant to say the least.

Great advice. I try to always do everything I can online before I get on the ship. The only time I ever had to go to guest services was when my key card did not work to get into my room.

Many times you cannot access your app if you have your VPN on. I had to turn my VPN off in order to have ours work. I don’t know if this has been corrected or if it is only an issue on certain ships.

Some credit card companies no longer require notice for foreign travel, but you shoild check anyway. There should be no problem using the cruise company credit card on the ship, unless of course you have reached the maximum!

These lines are precisely the reason why I am bucking for Platinum Latitudes status on NCL. I have minor mobility issues and being on my feet for any real length of time is painful. Airports offer ways to bypass them. Cruise companies (usually) don't. Very good advice folks.

Have all your ducks in a row before the cruise this way it will save you a headache later
