This looks very different from the method I performed: salting out method.
I added RBC lysis buffer + Trenton and centrifuged at 10, 000 rpm for 10 min. Then collected the pellet and discarded the supernatant.
Then added WBC lysis buffer + SDS + Nacl and centrifuge again.
Here I collected discarded the pellet and added chilled 99.9% ethanol. Centrifuged again and lastly collect the pellet, air dried and added TE buffer and stored at -20 degree Celsius.
