Unique Generic Destination Dispatch Traction Elevators - Thompson Hotel Central Park - New York, NY

There seem to be a lot of generic destination dispatch elevator systems around New York. This hotel has these new traction elevators with strange destination hall panels that, in my opinion, are actually really cool. I love the purple light that emits from the back of them, and the graphics on the actual screen look nice. I LOVE the sound effects and how instead of distinguishing the cars by letters, these do it by sounds. Each car plays a different tone when it arrives at the floor which is really neat. I demonstrate it midway through the video and at the end as well. These are the low-rise cars.

Very unique elevators in my opinion. I love the beep sounds and the elevator identification tones.

It’s actually a really nice hotel. It’s basically brand spanking new, the rooms are roomy, the upper stories come with their own lounge (that costs extra), and there’s a secret burger joint.

That floor passing chime sounds like the intercom in my grandmother's old condo!

looks like you also found a MCE destination dispatch. i find the accessibility mode to be odd, but its interesting

2:56 Please stand clear of the closing doors. The doors are fully closed and the elevator is already moving.

Sounds more like a retail security system chime like at exits

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you know that’s the low-rise right?
