(Filmed on April 1, 2024). These are the elevators at 5001 Yonge Street here in North York ON. Haven’t ridden these last year but these are some pretty amazing generic (MCE) destination dispatch elevators. This seems like TKE destination dispatch but not quite. The electronics voice for the handicap mode are different. These were originally installed by Dover from the very early 90s with older traditional buttons but got modded by an unknown generic elevator company in either the late 2010s or early 2020s with destination dispatch system. These have Dewhurst US91CC fixtures for the door operation and emergency buttons. These have new cabs, rounded metal ceilings, new motors and LCD Screen Display floor indicators. I found one of these in Downtown Toronto last year so this is not my first one. These seem pretty rare even though generic elevators are common. These are pretty noisy but still runs okay.
