This can be a very touchy subject, One trick i have learned about people that don't sing but want to play really loud is, Just Bring the vocals down on their monitor, if they can't hear the words they can't stay in time !

Hello Freya. An old issue. As an ex Stage Manager many singers complained to me about over powering bands. Since I controlled the microphones I had the solution. Unfortunatly many instruments don't need microphones. I suspect the volume can be advised on their music. Clearly brass instruments are at the back with strings at the front. Drums are behind a screen. Bands should rehearse with their singers to get it right.

I feel like, that I can able to project my voice well, and to still be able to go loud and soft, at certain times. I'm wondering, how can I still have the projection, even when I'm accompaning myself on piano. I am taking piano lessons, so I would like to know. God bless you.🙏❤

I agree with much of what you say, however...singers need to understand that they are just part of the performance. With electronics being the overwhelming vehicle of music today, singers need to grasp the reality that the microphone is a part of thier "instrument ". Learn how to enhance and create vocal sounds with it...not just as a vocal magnifyer. Cheers
