iPod Touch vs. Zune HD

I had the Zune HD and it kicked ass in music but I switched to the 3g touch. I didnt really buy the touch for the music I bought it for all the apps and great internet

I almost forgot something. Most Media Players aren`t made for browsing the internet on them either, but Microsoft Zune was made to browse the internet, now was it?
What's the problem with adding the apps capabilities?
The apps only help you expand the functionalities of the media that you are able view on your media player. What's the problem with the extra enhanced functionality?
They can do that to phones, but they can`t do that to their media player? Come on.

@789xray Zune HD = PMP. Music, video, internet, radio, and apps. It obviously was built as a media player, not a music player. iPod Touch is a PMP too.

@mrsporeking I totally agree, though I have to admit I might get a Ipod Touch 4 Gen, next year. The new display and HD recording is worth the extra $50 this time, though Im curious how the next Zune will be like.

I went from an ipod to a Zune and never looked back. Give it time and ZUNE will be champ the long run

I had a zune and it really loved it, but if your more of an apps person then certainly the Itouch is better but if you just want to listen to music and watch movies then the Zune is better.

a FAIR comparison would be comparing the ipod touch to a windows phone 7 with its sim card removed. the zune HD plays in the same league as the ipod classic/nano...

And it survives! Unlike the iPhone. I've dropped my iPod Touches and other iPods like just too many times and there's no damage.

I own both. The zune has better hardware while the iPod has better software. Now if only apple can put a good sound system into a better casing...
