Never get tired of watching Russian armor burning with these precision strikes. Looks like it had a full load of ammo with that explosion.

No matter what you’re rolling in. A direct hit from a 155 just eternally ruined your day.

A 155 guided munition - the Uaf is equal to the US now with their counter batter fire. They may be best in the world now at taking a trench system. Someone has studied the history of war and they now duplicate the German methods of 1918 but with drones. The trenches are fairly useless once the Uaf infantry get close.

The accuracy is actually frightening from artillary. I still can't get over that aspect. Artillery was never suppose to be so dam direct. But here we are. Freaking amazing.

Did anyone notice that in the run up to start of Ukraine counter-offensive there were not many HIMARS and Excaliber strikes reported, this was mainly because Ukraine was saving them for the offensive. Since the offensive began Ukriane has taken out 700+ artillery systems and many other important targets like ammo dumps, concentrations of Russian forces and logistic routes. Ukraine has been trained to fight like NATO, but NATO never fights without air superiority - and they weer ultra-slow in supplying Ukraine with decent aircraft.. That is why Ukraine is having to go carefully.

Looks like the Nona 2S9 is now Nona functional anymore... 😁

2S9s were intended to be air-droppable as part of the USSR's pivot in the 80s to having a strong mechanised airborne component that could rapidly deploy with it's paratroopers, it's the same aluminium hull (in reality very similar but not identical to) as the BTR-D. These can also engage in direct fire too though it's a secondary role, which perhaps explains why it was so close? Even with a just under 9km range you'd think they wouldn't want to get that close to the river. It's very odd to see such a vulnerable and light vehicle so close and on it's own. We don't seem to have seen russia use it's airborne or air-dropable assets at all since the start of the war though so maybe they're being parcelled out

Perfect shot boys. Drone operator and skillful howitzer team combo looks amazing. To the Victory and free Ukraine!

I think the Kremlin is doing everything possible to prevent Ukraine from consolidating a bridgehead on the other side of the Dnieper River, which curiously part of its initial flow comes from Belarus. It is after the drop in flow and the drying of part of the river bed, a great opportunity for Ukraine to start a counteroffensive, given its length, if they only consolidate between 10 and 20 km deep, it creates a double problem for the Kremlin;
Having to relocate the forces that came out after the dam was blown up, reinforcing the second and main line of defense towards Crimea. Because the water took a large part of their forward defense to the front line.
And to have a large open front through which Ukraine can diversify its forces, without the Kremlin being able to know where the main offensive or offensives will come from. forcing them to distribute their reserves.
Although Ukraine suffers regrettable losses of troops and a half, the Coup is tremendous. That is why the Kremlin is desperately trying to avoid it, without paying attention to its casualties.
Thank you for keeping us informed, I wish you and your readers a pleasant day.

I appreciate your news updates as other sites seem to specialize on only certain data or have god forbid Russo-centric views.

Suchomimus, yet more evidence the AFU conserves its highly trained troops--its most valuable asset--by avoiding costly storming tactics to gain their objectives. Instead, the AFU employs superior reconnaissance and knowledge of terrain to attrit RuAF elements from a distance with attack drones and artillery. Consequently, the Russians sustain high levels of attrition of troops and equipment. Moreover, their command elements fall farther behind the decision curve for mitigating their losses.
