would the plant still root n grow if I just cut the upper stem portion of the plant n just plant it without taking off the leafs?

I've been wanting to have a carpet plant but one of my fish loves eating plants, so when ever he sees a new one planted he digs it out. Lol thanks for sharing btw.

Whenever I propagate them my kuhlis dig them up lol

I thought of it, but no My fishes and I have a long way specially the one I told you about. So I just don't have a carpet plant no more.
