I found this model on my Ampero 2 a few days ago and it's definitely one of my favourites.

Great demo! Yes I think people over think the dumble thing, it’s literally just a nice transparent midrange smooth tone that can be had by running a couple good mid heavy drives into a fender amp. For me I love the Timmy and klon stacked for that type of tone

At First I thought it was a Real Dumble, Fractal sounds incredible !!

Woah, that's some killer tone, John, and very cool note choices! I would like to see you doing this tone demo on the Helix.

DIY guide to Dumbling

Step one: Find amp with serious midrange chonkiness
Step two: Boost that baby with a chonkscreamer and zen drive
Step three: High cut literally everything, including some of the upper mids
Step four: Stumble

Can't Stop playin' your Lead Presets on the MG30....every other Preset just sounds like every other Preset....your Sounds are just on another Level 🔥

interesting -- I'd heard the Robben Ford Bassman story but never the tubescreamer part. That Pedal Show did an experiment a couple years ago where they used a Boss GE-7 set for a midrange hump into a Boss DS-1 to mimic Dumble-style pedals (so the tube screamer would be the mid-range part)

That's a great tone! Really nice playing on intro and outro.

Brilliant playing, I listen to the first 5 seconds and said nope, Cordy is not making me go practice legato for the next five hours and shut the video off!

Beef up the guitar tone with a sausage dog T-shirt. Thanks a lot for keeping alive your Fractal device.

I had been stacking tube screamer and zen drive into deluxe reverb (real, and Kemper), for several years in church band, now it's a Klon into a Gladio Cornerstone (the single channel), still into Deluxe Reverb (Kemper)

Sounding great - it's got that mid-range squish for sure!

Great stuff! Worth trying out Amped ML's 'Humble' plug in, I'm very impressed with it.

Hi John, absolutely would be interested in an HX Stomp version of it if you find the time…

I like this approach of demoing settings that should work on pretty much any Modeler, as most of them can produce similar enough tones. This also helps us understand the signal chain better and how each component contributes to the sound. 😎

Lost me at "set the dB setting..."😅 you deep dive as good as you play! 🤯

if you did a blind a/b/c with the les paul/tele/335 with that model, im not sure i would immediately be able to tell the difference

The sound and the playing is impressive. Yes - that's very like Robben's tone. Appreciate all your content Jonathan. Great job my friend!

Buy an old Magnum 30b bass combo and run your favourite overdrive into it. Ora Zendrive/Ts9. It's eq section is all low mids and has a boost button also.
