We can't just hate cute things. No one can argue that Luffy is just so cute. He's like a puppy. You can get irritated or angry at a puppy but you can't hate them. Aside from that what I admired about Luffy is the fact that he isn't trying to be something he's not, he always believes in himself and is confident that he can achieve his dreams but that doesn't mean he is overestimating himself like he is aware of his flaws, he knows he isn't the smartest, the fastest or the strongest and he is okay with that. He is just someone who loves pushing his limit. When he decides to do something, he does it resolutely.
