One Piece - Who is in Control?

Was inspired to make this amv after I heard this song. I wanted to show some of the darker atmospheric moments in the show.

Most people think that One Piece is childish, but wheeeew boy are they wrong. It gets dark. Doflamingo's backstory is pretty fucking rough man. He's a great villain.

Usopp and Kaya would've probably died
Sanji would still be at baratie or killed by don krieg
Chopper would still be at Drum Kingdom or killed by Wapol
Robin would've died from crocodile
Franky would've probably been tortured and killed by CP9
Brook would still be in the florian triangle
Jinbe would be locked in Impel Down

1:51 moments gives quite an impact to me. Despite how evil and cold Doflamingo is, that scene still show killing his last close relatives still shakes him. This makes him more human despite inherently evil. Nicely done.

Finally a good new AMV. Most amvs lately have been one of two Thousand Foot Krutch songs with little to no cinematography. This on the other hand was well crafted, the timing with visuals and the music was spot on, and it actually relays the emotions of the book/show. Excellent work.

When it comes to One Piece, I feel like all the characters are competing for the unfortunate crown of 'Most Tragic Backstory Ever'! These guys act all goofy most of the time but damn, the shit they went through was beyond fucked up!
