Danny does shit like that all the time. For no reason at all he tricked all of us into thinking he wasn't in Japan by meticulously recording a TON of videos and scheduling their release, and anytime he took photos in Japan he'd photoshop them to look like he wasn't there.

His wife had been taking pictures and posting them on her public Instagram. People who watch him follow her. He just does these things because he can 😂
