How do I figure out which planes have telemetry ready ESCs? Is it just a few, only the newest, all, other? In other words, are there enough plane models out there (or coming) with telemetry to make it worth getting telemetry on a transmitter?

Took a while to setup with my Taranis X9D Plus, once I learned that with Taranis to adjust the outputs to 80% on all 4 controls (TAER) and also on CH5 for SAFE/AS3x modes everything worked great. Also, if you use Taranis, you will need to reverse CH2 and CH4. The rates they recommend in the book are good. Flew mine in a single court gym last week. Two flights, two broken props. LOL! If you do fly on hard surfaces, the props are pretty weak so order a couple extra sets! Broke the skid too when I did a hammer-head that turned into 3 pirouettes! Woohoo! Besides the props and skid, very durable plane! Looking forward to many more flights with the Ultrix.

I have one of the light kits that came today.

It is NOT plug and play.

The main wing LED strips are both attached to a single plug. As such the strips must be fed through fuselage holes from INSIDE the fuselage in a difficult to reach area. They also must thread through convoluted holes in the nacelles that are slightly narrower than the strips.

These needed to be installed at the factory before some of the foam parts are glued on. Best I can come up with is that I have to cut open the lower nacelles and cut out the glued-in hatch piece in the fuselage belly to install it.

 That or try to tape string to the ends of the strips, try to feed the string through the holes and then try to pull the strips through the holes like pulling wire through conduit at a construction site.

And there are two 4-pin ports, neither of which is identified as a com port or for the LED strips plug. BIG fail at documentation, guys/gals.

My umx ultrix only has 1 flight and is flashing blue light and beeping every 2 seconds After powering on. What does this mean?

LED installation looks like a real pain.
