I find it interesting that when you chuck the plane for take off you use your left hand and mouth for throttle. I use right hand loft with pitch so I can throttle up. and then have my hand on the pitch quickly.
I have two delta wings and never was able to fly them without SAFE or the equivalent. Differental thrust is a beast to master in my thoughts.
Looks like a fun little flyer, makes me want to get both my little deltas out and try again

You guys ever try clipping/mounting a GoPro to a hat or bicycle helmet? Might be a way to get some footage of you flying together? If you each wore one, it’d offer an interesting video I think.

I love your videos. I just got into the hobby. Coming from flying freestyle fpv drones so it’s a little different but honestly I am starting to enjoy the ease of flying planes fpv I need a suitcase full of gear and replacement parts it gets cumbersome and it’s getting harder to find any where to fly fpv… so anywho… I Saw your videos and decided to get a starter plane and it turned into an addiction lol love you guys god bless!

Nate you gave away my secrets. I have a mini Beaver that has great flying tendencies but when getting carried away, I flip safe on and off to do many stunts but make myself look awesome by saving it. I dont care whst old times would think, it's my plane, if I can use its fill potential I will.
Nice job but not a teaching video for beginners there Nate. I may get one for winter use. Watching you in a tee shirt makes me want to come visit. lol.

Really like this little plane. I purchased the Apprentice STS 1.5m with the intentions of learning to fly. A friend convinced me into buying the ultrix and taught me to fly using this on intermediate mode after a week of beginner. The ultrix is my favorite. the only thing I'd change or add is landing gear, My flight area is in the desert in Nevada with a paved strip. I feel I'd damage the servos if I land without the skid stick. Maybe tape a little bubble wrap over servos. lol. Anyway, great video, and great little plane.
