How to Record Video of Your Face on PowerPoint

This tutorial will show you how to record videos, specifically your webcam video, on top of PowerPoint slide lecturess. I will 1) demonstrate how to record video on top of PowerPoint 2) show how to save PowerPoint as a video file and 3) discuss common issues I encounter when recording this way.

The audience for this video is teachers and instructors who are teaching online (distance learning) and who are interested in ways to teach students through video.

I use Mac OS. Great video and it's basically the same process for Mac.

@0:31 instead of clicking home click "slide show" instead. Then click on "record slide show". If you want your face cam on click on the camera icon. Everything else is the same as in the video presented. The user interface may be different depending on the version of powerpoint you are using but you should still be able to record yourself with no problems.

On a Mac go to Slide Show > Record Video. In Record Video there is camera icon to the right of record, stop, next slide (top/right).

I am able to record and save the video created; but then when I play it back I hear my audio, however the video is frozen. It is there, but only as a static image. Any ideas as to what be be causing that?
