There was a time when Bo was larger than Jordan. Hit a major league home run and score a touchdown in the NFL the same day. By far the best athlete I have ever seen

Running as fast as you can then looking back and seeing the massive human that is Larry Allen straight hawking you down from behind has to be absolutely terrifying.

Larry Allen robbing the Saints of a pick six never gets old. Watching him sprint THAT fast will always be absolutely insanely

I remember when JJ Watt had a cameo on New Girl. Easy to forget how freaky athletic these people are until they're standing next to regular people

6:37 This run here is what makes Barkley so awesome to me. Reminds me of the old days.
To have that type of strength, center of gravity, and just to have and display that type of balance and personal/physical awareness and control of his body is so amazing and reminiscent of the 90’s when we’d practice (or at least attempt to practice) keeping our balance as we ran with the ball in RB drills. Ball in one arm and then running practically in a 3 point stance. It’s a beautiful thing to watch back then. Great to see him doing it now.

I shouldn't need to mention this guy as an honorable mention but Lawrence Taylor. Literally changed the way defense was played in the NFL and paved the way for guys like Reggie white, JJ Watt, Aaron Donald, and Von Miller.

Bo Jackson is definitely the greatest athlete I have ever witnessed. Running back, outfield or at the plate he was dominating. LT with a broken ankle and the giants were not having any of it. How is LT not on this list. He Changed the way the game is played and sadly ended pro ball player’s careers. All while addicted to crack and not training. If that’s not a freak of nature I don’t know what is. ❤

Few modern fans seem to be aware or truly appreciate Eric Dickerson as a football player and an athlete. Dude. He was SUCH A BEAST! I became a fan as a kid because of Tecmo.

Randy Moss is the freakiest athlete I have ever seen. His speed, his height, his hands, his hand-eye coordination, his balance proprioception, his body control, his agility for such a tall player, his INSANE acceleration in his prime, his jumping ability, and the fact that NO TEAM EVER went a full game without doubling him. He was the one player in NFL history you couldn't afford to single cover lest your team get torched.

HIs nickname was SuperFreak lol.

Moral of this comment section: there’s an insane amount of freak athletes in the nfl. Appreciate them all

One thing I didn't hear mentioned about Bo was his size, 235 lbs and faster than everybody else, incredible.

Adrian Peterson should’ve at least got a mention

I 100% agree with this video, in fact i had the honor of playing under Bo Jackson's back-up running back/half-back Kyle Collins. So i've gotten to hear a lot of stories about him.

There have been many phenomenal pure athletes in this game’s history. None can touch Bo.

Find yourself someone who loves you as much as John Madden loved Larry Allen.

I think it safe to say this list should be revisited & expanded. Too many missed monsters in their day.

No Herschel Walker? I remember back in the day when they would have the all-star challenge on television. He was out lifting lineman.

Wow NFL Throwback, how does Earl Campbell not make this list? The guy was one of the greatest running backs ever, nearly impossible to bring down and no one ever caught him from behind. Super rare combination of power, speed, and elusiveness, we'll probably never see another like him.
