Dev here, the reason why OS updates are delayed compared to other phone brands is because of Motorola Patent gestures. Each OS release needs to be optimized and tested to make sure that it does not alter/break the phone. Because other phones do not have gestures like Motorola, Samsung for instance can push out OS updates faster. Hope that helps.

The cameras are a bit...interesting.

Timeliness of updates doesn't even matter to most people. I have a Edge+2022 & it's just an effortless functioning phone. I Dropped the heck out of mine & broke the screen over a year ago & I'm upgrading just because.

I gotta say this is my device of the year for even 2024 this is the underground king in the phone with flagship specs.The nobody hardly gave credit for except a handful of you guys you know who you are that reviewed this phone. Even for the price right now you're getting is a exceptional phone if you take the bias from you gotta get a galaxy ultra, a pro max pro iPhone, or pro pixel pixel Xl. The price.
Keeps fluctuating in places. I've seen it for sale, it fluctuaes down to 449. Then I seen Amazon. Put it back up to light 560. Since it's been out for a year, I think the 449 to 469 is where they need to keep it. But if you want a phone outside of samsung google apple, this is the one

While there are many positives about this phone, I cannot recommend it for one reason: The vibration intensity is horrible. If you keep your phone on vibrate like I do as a courtesy to others you WILL miss calls and texts when it's in your pocket. You will miss them when it's right next to you on your desk. This can't be fixed. I've also noticed the screen dims to unusable levels in low light. I fix it and 20 seconds later it dims again. This phone is a huge regret.

My girlfriend bought one and it continually reboots. I mean continually. She's ready to throw it in the trash and I'm not exaggerating. Anyone know of any fix? She loved it when she first got it but now she's so pissed
