what is the latency over SDI, im currently looking at getting a teraadek system as I need to know My 1st AC can pull focus - just found this system and this looks like a cheaper alternative

Great review thank you. But could you clarify the latency? You said 10ms but it looked like 100ms. You also said it was 0.1s which is 100ms. The lag when you moved your hand looked quite bad, so it seems that 100ms is correct - which is poor and would make remote focusing difficult. I'd be grateful if you could clarify which it is. looks like it has best latency ive seen so far, considering you were testing HDMI signal, something like bmpcc with sdi output should get close to none delay

I'm wondering if regarding the Delay HDMI & camera do add something to the problem of latency.

From my playback, it looks like there is even delay between the actual hand movement and the Display of the camera (which wouldn't be an uncommon thing, that HDMI in prosumer photo cameras adds delay, that is what SDI is for.)

Do you have to possibility to add a test with SDI or have the phone visible in the video capture video feed (so actually compare 3 screens: 1. cell phone 2. camera monitor 3. video feed through Swit on monitor).

I'm certain that there is some latency inherent, but I have a feeling that it could be less than you have shown on SDI and a SDI camera.

Would greatly appreciate a follow up, if you can't test SDI, it could work with the 3 display method to a certain extent.

Oh shit. I'm going to film in a Brazilian city and thats the only wireless system they have, and boy, that's a lot of delay. I'm gonna have to make they rent a teradek for me to take from São Paulo.

Do not buy this thing!!! I did and it sucks! Also customer service sucks. Video transmission is neither uncompressed nor low delay. A lot of banding and blocking. Unusable for customer viewing or focus pulling. Might suffice for some operating. But it’s overpriced as cheap 5g transmitters fare better than this. Don’t waste your money, I unfortunately did.

Hello, if you have ever tested hollyland's cosmo 600, I used it and I am very happy with it, there is no video compression, I wanted to know SWIT FLOW500 500ft Wireless Video Transmission System 3G-SDI HDMI, is it 100% accurate without compression Video like cosmo 600 Hollyland? @Oma Ghomrawi
