Another solid video! I think I like the greenback a little more

Both sound fizzy and zappy. WGS Retro 30 and Reapers are never leaving my cab!

I would be super interested to learn about your cabinet switch setup. I have a Carvin V3 head, and two different 412 Carvin cabinets. One has V30s, and the other has whatever the standard Carvin 412 came with. GT12, I think. The V30s absolutely shine for my clean channel, but don't seem to handle the drive of the dirty channels. The GT12s, do well in that department. I have forever thought about doing a combo set up in each cabinet. How's it work?

He played the riff!! He played it! 😂

I am just starting to dive into the physics of speakers and how wattage affects headroom. The greenback in isolation sounds a bit more compressed and not as loud. I suppose it is the lower wattage. But… the EQ of the Greenback sits better in the mix to me. Do you have any Creambacks in the pipe for testing? It would also be cool to try the neodymium version of the creamback!

I use both, together they sound fantastic ! Mesa 412 on the bottom, EVH 412 on the top.

In a metal context, the clarity and bite of the V30 wins for me.

Is that cab chambered for each speaker or is it one big open cab inside?

The greenback sounded better for lead playing. And the v30 sounded better for rythm. Nice demo man.

The video is well done, but the gruitar has a horrible metalic sound.

Greenback ALL day. Or a t75 ideally.

Both are scooped and therefore leave room for the bass guitar to sit in the mix as something other than a subs and highs instrument.
