Repeating movie conversations can help as well.

It's because we listen a lot more than we speak, especially as english learners we don't have that opportunity to speak all the time.
Like you said be patient, just take as much as possible opportunity to speak :)

This is the problem of all students, they understand, but they can't speak.

Fantastic tips Vanessa. I 100% agree...I've worked with a lot of students that have this problem, and it always seems like their elementary/middle/high school classes were almost completely centered around grammar, listening, and reading. I really like your idea about moving from listening to speaking, and not being so worried about mistakes 😁👌. Great video as always! Thanks from the US 👍🇺🇲

Thanks for your advises. I like the tip: first we learn to listen. After, to speak like a baby. Don't rush yourself. Have a good weekend, Vanessa!

Understanding English but not being able to speak it fluently is a quite common problem for all English learners. As for me, I speak it well most of the time but sometimes do it wrongly or lose the usual smoothness, confidence, and enjoyment used for speaking English even if it's to myself or in my mind. Maybe that happens to me because I don't speak it that much in my home country, especially not having the pressure of using English in public or casually with natives. However, there are several ways to fix that problem, like heading to language practice platforms where one can speak with native speakers and non-native speakers, having the guidance of a qualified tutor in one-on-one sessions, and using language learning apps, just to name a few. Thanks so much for this awesome lesson and beautiful heart-to-heart talk, Vanessa ❤.

to improve my speaking skill :
1. I talk to customer care executive in English.
2. I talk in English with the person who knows it (English).
3. my mostly FB friends are from different countries and I talk with them as their native language is also different so we use English as common language to communicate.
