Thanks Phil! Ive been on the fence about picking up an F1 forever, but with the new display for Traktor im finally convinced. Question, can you load a stem track into just a regular deck, or does it have to be switched over like the remix decks?

I really hope Stems take off. It's a great tool for DJs to play with but if the content is not recognizable to the masses, it won't go far. More labels and producers (dare I say, mainstream) needs to get on board and release content the masses know and will be able to pick up on. Make sense?

I would get this version but Traktor disabled the ability to hit a black space on the remix deck to stop playback. When they fix this I will be on board!

I am an OG, DJ OG meaning I started playing music in the 80s and I still play music today. I also had the good luck of owning a club for 10 years and closed it after Covid. Now let’s get down to my issues. I’ve been traktor man since day one. I recently purchased the S4 and I’ve been using the S3 for many years since 2010. New York City DJs, all use Serato. I fight with anyone who tells me serato is superior to tractor. Now my good friend purchased the new Serato Controller that literally takes any downloaded MP3 and convert it into stems on the fly. Why can’t tractor do this? They really need to not all the songs that we’re looking for in the New York City urban environment are Stem available. Will you guys roll out an update to do this? We like to do a cappella on the fly we like bass beats on our house music but on the fly, please help me understand this.

2018. Latest update installed and Traktor is still bugging with that LED lit with no sound being played in the deck, just deck loaded (see channel B volume fader LED lit) don't know if it's a hardware issue then...

I have the S4MK2. Instead of using the mouse to control the filter and FX sends(6:56) in the Stems can it be mapped to a third party controller such as Novation Launch Control?

Great video I think Native Instruments dropped the ball here, the software should have been ready to go and supported the same time they dropped the hardware. This will push the hardware sales not the other way around. I personally bought a F1 after fooling around with remix decks and realizing that dedicated hardware would work so much better. ugh I love traktor but NI drives me crazy with their business decisions.
