8:45 I made the same mistake 10-12 years ago, luckily I can still count to ten.
But it sent me out of the shop for a few days.
Always wait for the blade to stop before doing anything on the table.
But thanks for the video. 👍

Wes, Thank you for your many videos. I learn something new every time. After seeing your video on the fork and spoon kitchen drawer, you shamed me into making a couple for my kitchen. In fact the bug bit me so hard, I did some in the shop. And with mini drawers that slide on top of each other. I have make a lot of stuff with at my side. I've done woodworking for 40 years. But its nice to have a 2nd pair of eyes at your side. We all thank you.

I tried my first rabbit joint last night and I'll be honest, it took me a few cuts to figure it out 100% but finally got it and made several cuts to hopefully imprint it on my brain lol. Im making a bunch of horse grooming totes and was using butt joints, glue and 18ga 1 1/2" brad nails and so far they're very strong for what they are but trying a few like this. Thanks for the video, Ive watched it several times and subbed to a great channel.

Great video. I love the way you lay things out so clearly. By the way, not all machine squares are square. I bought a set from i-Gaging that was anything but square. I trusted them because they were "machine" squares and the result was horrendous - both in terms of money wasted on expensive lumber and also my time and effort. I think you should make that clear.

Excellent video Wes. I`m thinking how to stain the pine box without blotching but that`s another video perhaps. I always enjoy and learn from your videos.

Good video!

I would say you should never use the fence AND the miter gauge at the same time.

Really good info Wes. Do you need a big watch on your wrist when wood working? Sorry but I am always thinking safety.Regards, John.👍

Maybe you need to measure twice and cut once.
