This is a simple driving lesson that is geared towards beginner drivers, and I believe that straightening the steering wheel is one of the most important parking skills that you can have as a safe driver. It is a rather simple process, and once you have practiced it, your mind will be able to keep track of your steering wheel turning subconsciously so you'll be able to straighten out the wheels of the car without even thinking about it. But that will take time and practice, so you will definitely have to put in the time and the effort!

Straighten your wheels whilst driving into the parking spot, not once stopped. If the wheels aren't rotating when you turn them, you will eventually damage the tyres. Not to mention wearing everything else connected to the front wheels (rack and pinion, bearings, tie rods...)
