Adding Data to ArcMap: Add Data button and Catalog Window

There are two ways to add data in ArcMap: through the Add Data Button or Catalog Window.

A. The Add Data button is perfect for selection multiple files at one time to add to a map.

B. The Catalog window drag-and-drop method is great for adding in a file at a time.
