Everyone was WRONG about Acheron in Honkai Star Rail. She is currently, one of the strongest offensive DPS units in the game, with the capability of growing into an even stronger DPS character once new, future Nihility units release later on after v2.1 HSR!

Acheron is the second 5-star Lightning Nihility character arriving at the end of v2.1 in Honkai Star Rail, but she doesn't play like any other Nihility character we currently have in the game. She's immensely powerful with the right tools, being able to naturally increase her own damage boost just by applying some strong team building fundamentals! Similar to other top tier Hypercarry DPS units, Acheron takes advantage of allies that debuff the enemies before she strikes. With particular builds, she's even able to use stronger Harmony characters like Sparkle or Ruan Mei, to increase her DMG further while advancing forward. Previously, a lot of the community has been downplaying or doomposting Acheron to make others believe she will be a character weaker than Jing Yuan or Argenti, but this is the furthest from the truth. Acheron is absolutely busted DPS character in the right hands and in today's video I'll begin to show you just that.

Acheron, as a new 5-star Lightning character does everything any aggressive player would want, but can she be useful for players who only focused on building one archetype?

I dont know why people keep thinking a signature lightcone is "required." I have yet to see a character "require" there signature lightcone. Is it nice? Yes. But its pretty much just a luxury. You can clear hardest content in game without any signature lightcones. Just build well and use your resources correctly.

The things is... Her lightcone isnt so strong because it boosts her ult more than any other lc. Its so strong because it boosts the Damage this much WHILE ALSO letting her use it MUCH more often.

I think at this point we know people were under the impression in the beginning that Acheron was going to be restrictive and just doubled down on it. Now we have seen the numbers and team comps, its really not as bad as people claim. Like all the dps units the more you invest in them will be amazing. Still just because of all the nuclear drama people are doomposting her. She will scale better with time like Kafka and Topaz and until we get that new 5 star Nihility debuffer she will still be strong without that unit, but that unit will probably push her up like Black Swan with Kafka and Sparkle for DHIL

I love that black swan is gonna be a great partner with her since that means even if my Kafka gets a new dot buddy I can run swan on the other side

I’m glad I came across this guide, I was one of those that got discouraged to pull her but I miraculously got her after pulling for Jing Yuan last minute and I love her too (but I sadly used up all my resources for JY sksk but for now im having fun slashing mobs with her at lvl 1 too)

It's amazing how many people just blindly listen to people on the internet, also didn't help the content creators who got early access didn't exactly pay attention to all their buffs and debuffs and timings, but that's no fault of theirs except negligence in the excitement of making early content it's understandable.
She's Mei, Mei is always broken, and always good with or without her gear, this is a eternal rule of all hoyo games I remember this dumb argument back in genshin when people were like you gotta get Eis spear or she's bad, then she became a permanent meta staple still used to this day with or without the weapon 😂

Damn for someone like me who haven't got JingLiu, i prefarmed for Acheron, she helped me cleared off MOC 12, AMAZING! I even got her lightcone which gave me one cycle extra because of the damage buff

I decided to try my luck on her banner mainly for the technique lol, lost the 50/50 at 70 pity and I will be taking my baby boy Aventurine because I have all the best FUA team characters and he will fit in with them very nicely :D Happy for everyone that got Acheron <3

Yoooo I had a s2 GNSW while watching this video, as soon as I heard "currently on banner" I went for my first yolo multi on the LC banner (new player here), I got the third copy of GNSW AND HER OWN LIGHTCONE ON THE SAME MULTI!

At this point, I feel like I'm trolling when I say that I'm still skipping her. It's not because I don't want her, but I really do need a second sustainer. Not to mention that, even if I did pull her and her light cone, I just don't have the resources to put towards her right now. Still planning on pulling Aventurine and potentially Jingliu's LC, but I'm definitely grabbing Acheron on a re-run.

Honestly, she seems kind of...too strong. In the same way that using a Kafka/Swan DOT team feels like easy mode in most of the game.

My half assed day 1 E0S0 build Acheron is able to 2-3 cycle... I don't even have the new sets yet and I'm running GNSW S2. Traces not even maxed yet. I was very much in the camp that you didn't need her LC, and she proved that easily day 1. She is so strong at E0S0 that I am rethinking if I even want to pull her LC at all now. It feels overkill lmao.

idk why people think acheron is so restrictive when its logical to have her paired with as many nihility characters for the quick ult. the passive just makes her that much better

The craziest thing about Acheron is that her banner blessed me with TWO count ‘em’ TWO, of her signature lightcones and I’m so happy she’s out. I’ll save the other one for now but I’m loving her gameplay! Good luck in y’all pulls!
