Ranking The BEST MyFitnessPal Alternatives 2025

It's been a year now since MyFitnessPal took away the barcode feature from their app - a huge blow to people tracking their nutrition to either lose weight, build muscle, or achieve sports specific goals.

Out of spite for taking the barcode scanner I won’t use my fitness pal

This was an unexpectedly well made video for 2000 subscribers and 30 views. It might be useful if you add chapters to the video or maybe recap the options in the comments since it's hard to keep track of all of the options. Good video though

I’ve switched to macrofactor from myfitnesspal and I love it. The only thing I don’t like is that I have to manually add meals into the database such as the factor meals that I eat.

I have used Cronometer for a year. It is great BUT the micronutrients are not very accurate. Even if you scan the food. Very frustrating. They need more verifiers. Even generic chicken has omega 3 and 6 values about the same. All chicken has way more omega 6. Wish they cleaned it up.

Honestly as someone who's just now getting into these My biggest like with MFP is the workout tracker as well as the food tracker, do these apps have similar functions to that?

So I tried macro factor and liked the idea of all the good features but unfortunately the barcode scanner is Shit and it's database is pretty much none existing
