I just switched to Hellenism from Christianity last week and not to knock anything or put down anything from Christianity but I feel like when I prayed to the judeo-Christian god my prayers weren’t really answered but when I switched to Hellenism the first God I prayed to was Morpheus the God of dreams and before that night I had been getting very bad sleep and hadn’t had a dream in almost 3 weeks and I prayed to Morpheus for good sleep and insightful dreams and then slept amazingly and had the most vivid and profound dreams that I’ve had in the past 3 years

I my religion is Asatru (Norce gods), so it was cool to learn about Dodecateism as well.

I am at the belief that perhaps cultures of ancient times worshipped the same gods. They just called them different names and had different worship practices and rituals. For instance, you can pull many similarities from ancient Greek, Norse, Roman, and Egyption Gods. This may also be the reason why it is accepted to worship other gods outside of Hellenism. Thoughts?
