The self-reversing ( giving engine thrust forwards) in new planes instead of ground vehicle-assisted reversing ( I presume) exerts heavy workload on engines. And in 2-3 minutes engines are asked to propel the plane forward & to give thrust Opposite & contradicting work extracted from engines in a few minutes. This heats up the engine highly, causing fire & flames & engine explosion.( I think). Lot of such crashes can be averted by vehicle assisted reversing.
