Hey guys! If you weren't going to become a lawyer, what alternative career would you choose? :)

I graduated from law school nearly 20 years ago. Yet like so many my career reinvention process seems never-ending . Thank you for such an informative and encouraging video.

Incredible video. I’m finishing up my last year of law school but looking at a different future than an attorney. With my background in finance and accounting, I have realized I enjoy business more than law which is why I’m pursuing a MBA after law school. Hopefully, I can narrow a career path and maybe utilize both education for work. Thank you for the video as it helped me start figuring out what I want for my future!

A brilliant interview, very insightful :) I'm only a student but I can already feel the pressure to remain on the BigLaw path

I love this! I love the idea of not being pigeonholed into one career and reimagining your career for maximum fulfillment. I’m going the opposite route though—I have a 12+ year career in HR and I’m sitting for the bar in June. I want to get into corporate legal counsel (with a focus on employment law, of course). Transition is scary especially when you’re established and relatively comfortable with what you’re doing (and I feel awkward that I’ll be starting law school at 33/34). Wish me luck!

This was a very insightful conversation. I particularly found interest in his point at the end about hunches. Great content, keep it up!

It seems like law schools and practicing attorneys need to tell students what they are getting themselves into more honestly like you are doing. Is there too much money on the line for the law schools to be honest to students? It seems like so many attorneys have to find this out after spending all their time and money on law school, is there not a better way ?

Thank you for this! Your channel has been really encouraging and informative. You guys really highlighted the idea of taking that leap into something new. Do you have any thoughts about making a change INTO law from a different career and whether it's too late? I'm 33 and law is something I've always wanted to do but those fears of the unknown you guys talked about are no joke! Do you have any thoughts/experience with starting a law career in your 30s?

Thanks for the content it is quite helpful. I'm a lawyer started one year back and my interest has reduced therefore want to try something new. I'm sure I will manage to fetch some side hassle to fund my expenses.
Thanks for sharing the content it is helpful 😀

A solid number of law school graduates that I personally know NEVER got hired in the profession. They ended up working at various factory, warehouse, and waitressing jobs earning $15 per hour. That's the brutal reality of the law business.
