I've heard many comparisons of wolverines and badgers to bears. I found this to be pretty confusing because at least with bears, if you look intimidating enough, they may not mess with you. Wolverines and badgers don't give 2 shits who or what you are. If you bleed, you're food.

Probably the biggest advantage he DIDN’T take into account at the end is the territorial difference. He mentions that wolverines will fight other wolverines to the death if they invade their 1.900 square mile territory, but badgers will share territory with other badgers. This means a full grown wolverine has probably killed many other wolverines in its life, making it a very skilled fighter and would definitely win since it would only be fighting a smaller version of itself with a bit of a thicker coat

One thing you overlooked is the ability of the wolverine to crush bone with its powerful teeth and jaws. Add to that it is much larger. If the wolverine grabbed the Honey Badger's leg it would break it rendering the Badger defenseless. The same if it bit the skull resulting in crushing instant death of the honey badger. I am 100% certain that the wolverine would win this fight primarily because it's twice the size.
