Great Episode!!! I suggested anyone reading this go back to the Newspaper clipping shown @ 12:34 and read read the short article titled "Tennessee Pygmies" - you will fall over laughing :) Too bad people just don't write like that anymore :/
Ben I am SOOO HAPPY you mentioned that ENCOUNTER with that 'alien being' called Assawon(?) or something like that.... that was one of the first alien encounter cases I ever heard about on the internet and I the drawings of that guy are WILD!!! They look like a Martian version of our FAVORITE 90's Teenage Derelict 'Butthead' !!! It REALLY does look like him... ESPECIALLY in one of the drawings.... but from what I understand, this took place before that show ever came out.... but I could be wrong.... lmao I used to use that drawing as my profile pic for the longest time.... ahh
Oh yea, about that Siren story.... it sounds like a Mermaid in a way... but obviously they aren't known to hangout in volcanoes... as far as I know lol ... and as far as the guy's body disappearing the next day... well if the pool of water was acidic enough, or base enough, with such high temperatures I don't find it the least bit likely that he just dissolved away... BUT I would expect SOMETHING to be left of his clothing... with all the synthetic materials used today I would assume there would be pieces of his the soles of his shoes floating around.... but they could have just be washed away from the site.... it's pretty crazy!!!! (But it wouldn't stop me from going to see what I imagine is ONE OF the most beautiful natural places on Earth!! BUCKET LIST ENTRY #1 !!!!) :D

Loved it great job.
I had hoped I would be able to find the article from the early to mid 70's from Freeport Texas, but I'm not that good at researching. So I gess it's gonna have to be 2nd hand. I was told by a classmate 3rd, or 4th grade that there uncle who was drunk and going into his house (a believe it was AVE A) had a shadow come over him if I remember right he wasn't a big man. He turnd around and saw a bird not more than 10 feet away from him. He quickly went inside. I wish I could remember more of the details but memories are not like fine wine.

Ooo..I hope we do revisit the "Lizard People" sightings 😀 this is one of my favorite subjects..and, as far as I understand it, both "Cryptid AND Alien" would be a reasonable assessment 👍
I've heard that there are the Draco Reptilians, from the star system of the same name. Then, there are the terrestrial Reptilians, that have always been here, that evolved on this planet. 😁 very interesting(terrifying, however fascinating)!!
