That is so cool that they have magnetic minerals in the brain that help guide them from the second they are born and IMPRINT on the MAGNETIC signature on the beach they were born to then come back!! So cool dude

Gotta share. Near the end of this video we can see people marking the eggs in the sand with a black line. If the orientation of the egg is disturbed it will mess with the turtles development. The egg's "position" is maintained this way.
