Vortex mixes up the standard defense for the first tier, but after that it is pretty standard. Just make sure to avoid those nasty stuns!

I believe that Geraldo has much more income at the mid-end game, however, Ben feels way more comfortable granting some huge money at the early game (fast early is more important than fast mid and end IMO). So, it's all about the style you play: saving up huge money or buying everything on the spot

MAD is still kind of OP in this, I hope they mix up the meta a bit because for now it's mostly the same with every boss run and a lot of the towers that are viable for other bosses are viable for vortex as well.

I think it's worth mentioning that some of these strategies may be inconvenienced by the challenge requirements during some boss fights, such as the possibility of no specific hero, or tower allowed.

204 sniper army works for every tier very well if you place them as far from the track as possible. Buffing them with support temples and perma brew makes them crazy strong. And of course the debuffs too.

Ok, so the Quincy NFT is a given, but I saw someone on the subreddit say "I first thought the shooty turrets were called shitty turrets". I haven't called them shooty turrets since then once.

I’d like to give a mention to ninja paragon (40+ degree) against tier 4. Even tho the dart paragon (40+) and support is enough to beat tier 4 vortex, the ninja paragon’s sticky bomb alone is enough to deal damage so that vortex actually goes further away. And you can also place the paragon away from the track so it won’t get stunned.

Cool Geraldo trick for early to mid game:
If you use the worn hero's cape you can then use the top path village to buff the super monkey as it still thinks it is a primary monkey!

Edit: You have to have the village before you transform the dart

Thanks for this. I was able to beat elite with the following towers:
Round 40: one crossbow master and an elite defender
Round 60: one mad and two crossbow masters
Round 80: 24 dart paragon and perma spike
Round 100: 46 dart paragon and perma spike, embrittlement
Round 120: That same dart paragon, perma spike, max vtsg, 4 navarch of the sea, cripple moab, embrittlement, and perma brew

Honnestly if u use geraldo u might want to use farming abilities with high cooldown / high cash, cuz the rejuv potion will make so much profit ( maybe chinnoks are good for farming thanks to it now lol )

May just be me, but I find a tack zone still does a decent job against the first few teirs

Any Bloons tutorial be like: okay after you get your lvl 20 Geraldo on round 1, you’ll need 4 max paragons, the worlds largest monkeyopolis, 3 of the exact same 5th tier tower, and the bloonchipper.

I beat vortex first try he has lych speed but has bloonarius health so he is a bit hard but he also gets pushed back

Make sure that you have the monkey knowledge that sets your hero to lvl 3 before using Geraldo
