i was hoping you'd explain the (u+0013) shortcut that was there so i don't have to go into insert every time

Anyone know which symbol is the wildcard? Usually it's * or sometimes % but not in Insert/Special Characters. Type
flower
you get 6 Unicode characters or pictographs, now type
*flower
you still get the same 6, now type
sunflower
you get a sunflower, BUT, why won't it show up with *flower or %flower? Thanks google for deviating from what we all use for wildcards and making us waste time searching the world through forums etc, sheesh. *get it together google* see how easy that Hashtag #google, it’s not that hard.
