This is a special version of the See dyslexia differently animation for schools with an introduction by Dom Wood (TV presenter and entertainer).

This animation seeks to preempt misconceptions among young audiences by shedding light on the real challenges dyslexic children face whilst also acknowledging their strengths and potential.

Excellent video! I got diagnosed when I was 19 in my first year of university. This video really sums it up brilliantly. I loved the way they explained how dyslexia affects people, and how they showed that we can do everything that everyone else can do but perhaps in a slightly different way.
So many people do not understand dyslexia. I have had so many people ask "Does that mean that you can't read and spell?" when I have told someone that I am dyslexic. But, I can read and I have always loved reading. It just takes me longer to read and process the words. It is so good that they are increasing awareness through videos such as this one to help everyone understand dyslexia better.
