While the pandemic has affected everyone, remote health services or telemedicine are available only to digitally connected customers. Almost half the world's population, 3.7 billion people, primarily women in developing countries, are still offline. Without decisive action, the digital divide will become the new face of inequality. This session will explore how a collective effort from national and local governments, businesses, civil society, academia, and multilateral organizations can achieve universal connectivity.
