Kenpo Karate vs Wing Chun: Round 1

preview_player
Показать описание
Continuous sparring between Kenpo Karate (Red Helmet, White Pants) and Wing Chun (Black Helmet, Black Pants). The athletes are graded on points, which are earned by striking the opponent's head or body. Earning a point does not stop the fight. The opponents continue trying to earn points for the duration of the round.

Keep in mind that due to the ruleset, the required foot and hand padding, and the gym floor, fighters will tend to spar one another in a more dynamic style, resembling modern-day kickboxing or MMA, even though the fighters' backgrounds are in Kenpo Karate and Wing Chun, respectively. If you're truly an experienced practitioner of any martial art, you'll know that a live battle will look nothing like the techniques you see in kata/forms.

Nunca me a gustado que el kenpo tenga como forma competitiva el sport karate, le quita la efectividad al estilo.
