I'm really happy with James Gunn's outlook on death in storytelling. He really nails it when he says that death is meaningless if characters keep coming back. It makes every sacrifice and loss in the MCU meaningful and memorable.

The multiple character developments over 3 movies is where Gunn succeeds over many other franchise movies. He takes all the characters seriously, even the minor parts like Laika the dog.

A little nitpick of mine to editor:
I really like to see the expressions of both people, even when only one is talking.
I.e. When James was going in depth it was zoomed in but I wanted to see Chris’s facial expressions as well to know what he’s thinking.
