Hegel didn't use that terminology it was Fichte you mapped it on to Hegel

Seems to me that Hegel's insight is useful only to a point. It's more in the order of one of those things you think of when you're really stoned that seems very profound, but that's sort of looking at reality from the ass end around and compared to actual truth is a mere piffle of incoherence. It's like noting the color of a wave without knowing anything about what a wave is. A surface detail only.

This is a very British way to put it so: The answer is no TECHNICALLY. If you want to know WHY Hegel doesn’t mean thesis antithesis synthesis you should read his text The Science of Logic. However, I would agree this is a good architectural view of his system. Even though Hegel’s articulation is not the same as this three part schema, he ultimate stands for a theological position which in involves the sublimation of absolute identity into nothingness and back again: IE theological motives (It’s no wonder Zizek says he’s ‘not’ Christian)
