I think people confused by Hegel and Slavoj come looking for answers, a neat little ideology to wrap up and carry around with them. But their ideas stay in motion, they never settle into a definitive “answer” they leave you uneasy and with more questions than you came with. I think that’s why they’re fantastic, the dominoes never stop falling, just like life, the more you experience the more you realize the possibilities are infinite. there’s a millions reasons why things happen, whatever one you’ve settled on to make yourself more comfortable is a lie in itself because it’s just 1 of a million dominoes, why stop at that one? Ego? I assume ego would drive you to have a nice tidy idea wrapped in a bow easy to carry, and share with others, ego would pat you on the back for that. Sometimes the best things are in greasy brown paper bags and they get real messy when you try to share them with friends.

Hegel IS indeed an alien among philosophers. Completely unique, both for better or for worst. Compared to Science of Logic, even Heidegger is a naive child. It's so tremendously abstract, onerous, dense, "confused" (although in a very rigorous way) and unpredictable. His philosophy is both impossible and necessary. His dialectical spectrum continues to haunt us all, whether we like it or not.

It already happened technically he is a post modernist, and the guys, abstracting a philosophy we been living for years. Then we did again through interpreting his writing. To me, he is negating it through phenomology of philosophy on paper.
