To resolve log into you Microsoft 365 Admin centre.
Click the Devices option in the left hand menu
Click All Users under the Device Type Restrictions
Go to the properties tab
Edit the Platform Restrictions
Then enable the personally owned devices by changing them from Blocked to Allowed.

This video was made using a demo version of a Microsoft 365 Education subscription and using a Windows 10 (2004 update) Virtual Machine

Thank You, but i don't have an admin icon. What should I do?

If you don't have BYOD policy it is safe that stays as "Block", the other way to go around this is if you have access to add users Access, then add a USER DEVICE MANAGER in Microsoft Intune Admin Center->Devices->Enroll Devices->Device Enrollment Managers

You should not be turning this off unless you are not supporting Auto-Pilot import of devices. Unless you have a BYOD Policy, you want to ensure that only devices your company owns are enrolled into your tenant.

Hey is there any other alternatives to this? I have an student account with the microsoft office. They wont let me use the admin account because apparently I don't have the permission since it's affiliated with my university.

Facing this issue now, I just want my device to be entra registered but it kept showing 80180014. which is supposed to be for Intune~~
I did not choose the Join domain option when connecting the account in work or school.

What can I do if it says "No access" on endpoint? I go to devices->enrollment restrictions and It shows that message. Also it showed a message that the portal is having issues getting an authentication token. Don't know what to do

If you have the laptop physically with you or the end user is knowledge, you can export the hardware hash again from the laptop. Delete the device from intune -> Devices | Enroll devices > Enroll devices | Windows enrollment: Click on the device, delete. Wait about 15 min, then import the device again with the hardware hash. Once you perform this operation, the end user should be able to login with his corporate microsoft account. Possible that a new error shows: 801c0027, just hit try again, try to login one more time and should go thru. The above is a good tutorial but if you allow personal device, and then block it -> then restore the laptop and try to sign in again, it will show the same error. (keep in mind that all data will be removed, after restoring it)

This is still valid as of August 2024. Keep it up.
