Hey there everyone! Today is the day of the recipe that you all have been asking for and it's the kind of `bereketli` recipe that comes in plenty when it does — I hope you all watched the last video for that bereket reference hah! 😘 It's of course, the legendary, the one and only chicken döner also known as shawarma, gyro, or doner kebab, and I gotta tell you, it turned out PERFECT!

😲🤯cutting it away from the frozen log of meat is BRILLIANT in so many ways. You can make it ahead and have it on hand when you want it and it is the best way to achieve restaurant like shawarma❤

Oooh looks soo Yum!
I've come to the conclusion that the Pita is the Perfect 1 thing to ALWAYS have on hand in the kitchen. I think it may well be the most versatile food going, especially if you aren't in the mood to cook but have to eat something, you can throw about anything on a pita and have an awesome meal in 5 minutes flat.
*slice, fry or bake and season for crispy snack.
*makes a great round pan lasagna noodle replacement. Taco lasagna too, oh yes...
*fried egg & cheese or full on omelet roll up.
*sliced, toasted, used as soup or salad topper, or packed with the salad itself
*love it as a sweet treat too. Cream cheese and crushed berries, fold in half. Butter one side, fry til soft and warm, turn, butter and brown til crisp, fold in half again. A sprinkle of cinnamon. Crispy outside, soft inside. No additional sugar required. (Or, chop and cook an apple til soft, add butter and cinnamon, cream cheese, then fold and cinnamon on top. )
