I got the A54 and I got the s23 Plus thinking I was missing out The only thing I was missing out on was an extra 600 bucks. A54 is a great phone The only thing I did was install the Google phone app because it worked better with a virtual proximity sensor

Since there are hardly any significant differences (apart from the slightly faster loading times), why should you spend so much more money???
Both smartphones run absolutely smoothly once the applications have been started. And the A54 has eSim/Dualsim PLUS memory card expansion!!
Hardly any user still needs an S23+ just for this slightly faster opening of applications or Samsung Dex thanks to USB 3.x or the somewhat smoother videos in 4K. Especially since very few of them will use Dex or shoot 4K or even 8K videos, also because there are hardly any devices for 8K. Quite apart from the fact that at 8K you will quickly run into storage problems on the S23+. I find the A54 surprisingly good value for money compared to the S23+ which is more than twice the price but never anywhere near twice as good.

Apparently if see from this type of video you will believe that there is mild difference in app opening speed. In real life problems starts when 3 to 4 apps opened on the background, this A54 lags and zitters. It has IFS 2.0 where flagship s23 has UFS 4.0 which makes.a huge difference also the processor exynos is too bad even in midrange price. Its for $199 USD phone, not for $ 450 USD phone. Camera also only 4k 30 fps no 60 fps and no stabilization at 4k, night photo and video are bad in A54. I have S23 and its awesome pretty handy single hand device.

What do you know about issues with the screen on these phones? I like Samsung but have had 2 phones from the S series that had issues with the screen, and had to change them within 2 years of use (and I really take care of my phones) Last one was S20+, problem started with a pink line in the front, a couple of months later a green line, and on that same day, screen turned completely white. Repair is pricy. I love S23+ but am insecure due to my past experiences, considering A54 for a less price, in case this type of issues on the screen happen in the future. Any comments?
