OMG Every time I see these I begin to cry😭😭😭😭 for these cars are my dad's favorite cars, he has 3 of them, he's long now, now but now I've got his cars all 3 of them☺️ nice video, thanks for sharing this with me, more please. ✌️💯👍

Even more rare than a #6 car, since it was #6 in the **Los Angeles plant** -- the last to open and the first to close. I have LA car #100, also a Citation 2-dr, mfg. on 20 August 1957; yours was mfg. on 8 August, within about two days of the plant's opening. LA made only about 1500 Citations, incld. 225 or so 2-drs., before it closed in November '57 due to cratering sales of the big-series Edsels and the fact that Ford had already begun to buy thousands of unsellable vehicles back from panicked dealers.

This is actually the #5 LA car, since all serial numbers started with 700001. The factory was in something like chaos at that time, b/c they had to ship bodies across town to be painted at another facility, then back to the main plant for mating with a chassis. Seat fabrics here are not orig., and heavier-than-factory tint has been added to each window. Backup light delete plates on a Citation?!
