GST Website DSC Issue Resolution - Failed to Establish connection to the Server. Restart EmSigner - Resolved

Hello Everyone,
I was facing certain issues with the GST website regarding how to e-verify the monthly return using DSC. There was a persistent issue stating "Failed to establish connection to the Server. Kindly restart the EmSigner". Even on restarting there was no resolution as the issue was repeated.

The video details how I was able to get over the issue by following certain steps. Kindly note the steps are to be followed in exactly the same order for an effective resolution.

sir using xorkeesign G2C India extension you can sign without Java or Token or EM bridge drivers. It is a simple and elegant way of working. The signing can be completed in a few minutes. You may google the same on internet. The best way is you can sign using your Android Mobile phone. Please do note that do not share your DSC token to any one as any one can misuse it.

Just click on Start Service to start the emSigner service, if it is not started
automatically.

Note: If you want to stop the emSigner service running on your system then
just click on Stop Service.

In the first place, I fail to understand the obsession to use Chrome. Even I used to use Chrome but was fed up doing all this long process again & again. Hence, just thought of trying Microsoft Edge, which is recommended browser for Windows 10. And the experience was awesome. I loggedin to GST website, started emSigner, attached DSC & filed the Returns. Wasn't required to do any of these steps.

Dear Rajdeep ji, You have presented yourself as a true saviour for us general public who struggle a lot while filing the returns for no fault of ours. I strongly suggest that you should mail these steps to GSTN Helpdesk so that they can make it publicly available for everyone. The issue still persists, not able to sign digitally.. Despite performing the action mentioned by you.. I used chrome
Kindly make a video so that the issue is put to rest..
