General James N. Mattis is a retired United States Marine Corps general who last served as the 11th commander of United States Central Command from 2010 to 2013. On December 1, 2016, President-elect Donald Trump announced that Mattis would be nominated to serve as United States Secretary of Defense in the coming administration. During this time he was the 11th Commander of United States Central Command. We sat down with him and asked him your questions.
