Simple Hostile Mob Farms, Minecraft 1.12 - 1.16+ (Fun Farms Ep. 15)

Показать описание
In this episode of Fun Farms, we are researching limits and possibilities of simple flush hostile mob farms. Stupidly cheap, minimum redstone, unbreakable, configurable for spawning of different mobs, all the good stuff:
If you need info on Java Bedrock compatibility or you are updating past Minecraft 1.14, make sure that you don't use the cobble wall method to prevent spiders from spawning but rather use glass blocks in the spawning chamber instead.
Also since 1.14, any block above the farm counts towards extension of spawnable space, meaning you should not build anything (AFK platforms directly above the spawning floors, In the case of basic example of an in-the-air farm form the real world example map, you can AFK on a block at {-52,188,-80} (/setblock -52 188 -80 stone), as long as the farthest point in the farm where the mob can be is not farther than 128 blocks from player AFK position. For details please refer to this fragment of a video:
- All mob farms, no cave lighting, up to 23k drops/h
- All mobs + enderman overworld farm up to 23k drops/h
- Creeper only farms: 31k gunpowder / h
- Music Disk farm for 15k disks / h
- Simple all mobs - but no spider: 34 drops / h (including 8.3k bones /h)
- Nether ending stream of hostile mobs: 38k drops/h
Bonus mathematical equation for mob farms drop rates.
