KTM has been a controversial brand in some ways... They are loved by many and hated by equally as many. They make amazing motorcycles and these days... They are the brand that can push the industry to new standards. But this begs the question... Where did it all start?

You did a great job on the video but just one part of the information is wrong. Husaberg started after Husqvarna was purchased by Cagiva ( which later was purchased by BMW ) and the former engineers from Husqvarna went to the Swedish government and got a grant to start Husaberg . KTM was wanting to use the Husaberg 4 stoke Engine valve technology and looked into a licensing the system from Husaberg but than just decided to buy the whole company. Once again you did a fantastic job on the video and I just found that one mistake because I used to work for the Eastern United States Distributor of Cagiva ( and that was a very unorganized group of Italians out there in California ). They liked to do a lot of liquid lunches 😜🍺🥃🍸

Just found your channel. Well done! I raced Husky's starting in the 70's in the National Enduro series. I remember racing against a lot of European brands. DKW, Sachs, Puch's, Hercules. The Penton KTM.

Thank you so much on this history lesson. I have changed my opinion based on this history lesson, also to save the history of a motorcycle brand is very brave indeed and to keep the history is even more brave in this environment. I would love to see a history lesson of Husaberg and it final dissolution by KTM...
