Got to like the respect and the honesty

I think its admirable how close Richard keeps these things to himself. 'Yes i know what the conversation was, its not my place to share it.'

I would be willing to bet the announcement was coming at the end of 2001 and how much it still stings to think about for these guys to this day probably keeps a lot of conversations short.

Richard is an Icon to the sport I wish Kevin would have stayed and won multiple Championships with RC ya only can imagine. I've been a Harvick fan his entire career. Gotta love Richard.🏁🇺🇸🏁

Once Dale finished 2nd in points, agonizingly close to that 8th championship… I think the retirement plans got put on hold.

Dale had fun racing with Jr and Mikey in 2000. I only wish he would have stayed home that day.

Alternate timeline: Dale Retires after his son's rookie year. He comes a part time analyst for NBC. He becomes the sho gun of DEI and continues until the late 2010's with marginal success and hands over the control to somebody else. He currently resides in his home in North Carolina, helping raise his grand babies and teaching them to fish.

DALE EARNHARDT WOULDN'T OF RETIRED UNLESS HE HAD TO. HE SAID THAT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 2008 DOCUMENTARY MOVIE DALE NARRATED BY PAUL NEWMAN

There’s Dale’s 3-sentence Y2K contract on display in the RCR Museum and it does not specify an “end date.” I personally believe Dale Earnhardt would’ve retired after he secured his 8th Winston Cup Championship, and gone out as the driver with the most NASCAR Championships, and went on to compete and challenge for the Team Owner’s record…

Earnhardt was the #3, died in turns 3 n 4, 3 years after he finally won the Daytona 500.and people say numbers mean nothing

When he got that neck surgery and healthy again his career was pretty rejuvenated.

Why does Childress gatekeep insignificant things? It's like he's trying to continue to ride the coattails of Earnhardt's success because there's no other way he wouldve succeeded.

Who even cares about a mobile game or Fall Guys game? Give us Far Cry already.

What a liar!
He knew Dale was outta there,
Sr, had his cards lined up. I bet.
Richard had to be mad know what was coming.
He just afraid to say it so people don’t see him as bad guy for having bad feelings about Dale. And then the unfortunate happened. I bet is would have been similar to how Keslowski left Penske.
