Xbox is doing a MUCH better job when it comes to upgrading and preserving games.

I kind of wish gamers that were born in the 2000's could've experienced the jump from the 5th to the 6th generation in terms of graphics. It was mind blowing. While this generation improves graphics most of the focus is in frame rates and higher resolutions with some ray tracing. It's very nice of course.

As a PlayStation consumer literally since I was 3 years old with my PS1, I have stayed and supported PlayStation and Sony generation after generation and have yet to be disappointed so a PS5 is a must for me. I don't dislike Xbox and Microsoft in any way, in fact I think the approach they are taking this gen will give PlayStation some good competition to up their quality even more going forward. I wish people would stop bashing each other over which console they get and just appreciate what's being given to us this generation coming.

You didn’t talk about how Xbox is boosting the frame rates of some older games without the original devs needing to do anything, like fallout 4 will run at 60fps or the auto HDR that is added to almost every game with no performance hit

It's like the two business models going at. One is like Blockbuster at their peak and the other is Netflix climbing and trying to convince people that subscription is the future. It's fun to watch. I'll eventually get both (a PS5 in a year or so).

Playstation never wanted backward compatibility they wanted you to buy your old games on a new platform
But Microsoft forces them to go this way
Or else Playstation would look like a clown
Playstation can still do backward compatibility of PS2 AND PS1 but no they want you to buy those games remaster on the new platform
They are becoming like Apple
